Ombra is hands down one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the cozy, inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for the evening. The ambiance is chic yet comfortable, making it ideal for both a casual night out or a more intimate dinner. Now onto the food—absolutely phenomenal! We started with the Grande Tagliare, a charcuterie board packed with a stunning array of imported meats and cheeses. The prosciutto was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and each cheese was paired with delightful accompaniments like house-made crostini and fig jam. This alone was worth the visit! But it didn’t stop there. The Truffle Burrata was an absolute dream—creamy, indulgent, and paired with just the right touch of truffle to elevate the dish. Next, we indulged in some of the best crostini I’ve ever had. The Blueberry and Brie Crostini was a delightful blend of sweet and savory, while the **Italian Sub Crostini** took a classic sandwich concept and transformed it into a gourmet bite. And as if the food wasn’t already top-notch, the service was just as impressive. Our waiter, Carlos, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, providing perfect recommendations and making us feel well taken care of throughout the night. His attentiveness and expertise truly enhanced the experience. All in all, Ombra offers a perfect trifecta of incredible food, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service. Whether you're a fan of charcuterie, tapas, or craft cocktails, this place is an absolute must-visit!
Ombra is such a gem in Boonton—perfect for a girls’ night or a cozy date night. The small bites are delicious and ideal for sharing, and the $15 wine flight on Wednesdays is a must. Desserts with a cappuccino are the perfect way to end the night, and if wine isn’t your thing, the cocktails are just as fun (I can’t say no to a limoncello mule!🍋). Kat has been our waitress every visit lately and she is absolutely wonderful—so kind and welcoming. I recommend Ombra to anyone looking for a truly cozy Italian experience.
Absolutely loved this place! My boyfriend and I travel looking for great artisan cocktails. We’ve found great places in Miami, Sarasota and Charleston. Now excited to find delicious and beautifully crafted cocktails near home. thanks to Donovan and crew at Ombré for a great experience!
Volume in the room was fine to be able to have a conversation. Cocktails and food were delicious, I recommend the pesto flatbread thing. Definitely a great date night or late night hangout kind of place
I have been wanting to go here for a while for a date with my wife. It was amazing! From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed. Donovan sat us and explained every detail of the menu and the he handed us to Andrea who was phenomenal. Can't wait to return. Great spot!
Impressive small plates, charcuterie, and cocktail. Great views of the valley. Perfect spot to hang out with friends at happy hour. Price was not too high, but it’s easy to go overboard. Special note: the ONLY place in the NYC area where I have been served real Sicilian anchovies (they are NOT like American ones).
I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant/bar. The owner must be extremely selective in their hiring process because all of the staff I’ve met are funny, professional and knowledgeable. Great food. Drinks are some of the best in NJ.

This is hands down the best place in the area to get a cocktail. The bartenders are experts, the wait staff attentive, and the hostess truly charming. The tapas style menu is diverse and excellently curated, and the wine list, while almost wholly Italian, is diverse and interesting. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is a MUST VISIT.
